Ojai Wedding at Bird Song Ranch
Lauren & James
Lauren and James’s wedding at Birdsong Ranch in Ojai took its cues from the land: oak trees, native plants, and the earthy colors of the surrounding landscape. Vintage furnishings and wildflower arrangements introduced a sense of nostalgia, bringing the couple’s love of antique details into a celebration grounded in nature.
Earthy Color and Collected Details
Terracotta, rust, and burgundy lent richness to the design, softened by cream and sage. Accents of copper, brass, and muted gold echoed the landscape’s warmth and complemented the vintage pieces throughout the setting.
The décor had the feeling of a collection gathered over time. Wildflowers added looseness and movement, while layered dessert displays continued the mix of textures, tones, and objects that gave the wedding its character.
A Barn Reception with a Romantic Glow
Inside the barn, string lights and chandeliers illuminated the space with a soft glow. The setting offered a natural backdrop for the antique-inspired details, carrying the outdoor palette into the evening.
The result was an Ojai wedding with an inviting sense of familiarity: an atmosphere shaped by weathered textures, warm light, and Lauren and James’s personal taste.
